Lightning Suspected in Hannibal House Fire

Fire Monday afternoon damages a house at 2217 Chestnut in Hannibal.
The alarm came in to the Hannibal Fire Department at 2:13 p-m. Heavy smoke was coming from the two story house as fire crews arrived. The fire was confined to the attic area. Neighbors say the heard a loud boom and they believe lightning may have hit the house.
