Legislation Pending Regarding Children Working on Farms
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) – Legislation pending in the Missouri Senate would allow children who are under 16 to keep working on their parents’ farms. The proposal would exempt children from getting a work certificate and from limitations on the number of hours and days they can work.
