Lannerd to Fill Vacancy on 8th Circuit Bench

A Quincy attorney is tapped to fill a judicial vacancy in the 8th Judicial Circuit.

The Illinois Supreme Court announced the appointment of Amy Lannerd to fill the spot created by the retirement of Judge William Mays.

Lannerd is a partner in the law firm of Lewis, Longlett and Lannerd in Quincy.

Lannerd’s first day on the job is April 12th. Her term runs through the election in November 2018.

The Eighth Judicial Circuit covers eight western Illinois counties, including Adams, Brown and Pike.
