LaGrange Trailer Fire Arrest

Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies report an arrest in an October 2011 trailer fire in rural LaGrange.

Sheriff David Parrish says 28-year-old Kevin Payton is charged with second degree arson. He’s accused of intentionally burning the trailer after accidentally causing a fire while manufacturing methamphetamine in the trailer.

Investigators from the Missouri Division of Fire Safety and the Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force assisted in the investigation. Payton is held on 20-thousand dollars cash only bond.
