Koehler Pleads Not Guilty to First Degree Murder
A Quincy man charged with first degree murder enters a not guilty plea.
27-year-old Alex Koehler entered the plea Wednesday morning in Adams County Circuit Court. A jury trial is set for October 14. Koehler is accused of attacking 56-year-old Robert Owens in a residence in the 900 block of Payson Avenue in early July. Owens was seriously injured and he died a few days later in Blessing Hospital. Details of a psychological exam of Koehler are sealed.
He is being held on a million dollars bond in the Adams County Jail.
