An Olathe, Kansas man has been sentenced to the Missouri Department of Corrections on meth related charges.

According to Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton, 52 year old Brian Martin was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to trafficking a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

The charges were the result of an incident in Hannibal in October of 2016, when authorities allegedly found 77 grams of methamphetamine in Martin’s car.

Clayton says that once Martin has completed his Missouri sentence, he will be remanded to Kansas to serve additional prison time there.
