Jury selection is complete for a man accused of a 2015 murder in Quincy.
Eight women and four men will hear testimony in the trial of Steven Gavin. He’s accused in the November 2015 shooting death of Carlous Wires Sr. Opening arguments are expected Wednesday in Adams County Circuit Court. Prosecutors say Gavin shot and killed Wires and robbed him in his home in the 700 block of North 4th because of a disagreement over a drug sale. Gavin is held in the Adams County Jail on five million dollars bond.
