For the fourth month in a row, Hannibal experienced better than average rainfall.

According to numbers from the Hannibal Filter Plant, 7.06 inches of rain fell in Hannibal in June, more than twice the average of 3.46 inches.

Hannibal got no rain until the 14th, but then a whopping 3.39 inches of rain fell in one day, with another 2.28 inches of rain falling over the next three days.

Also, there were six days in June when the thermometer reached or exceeded 90 degrees.

The warmest days were the 12th and 13th when record highs were tied. The high of 95 on the 12th tied a record set in 1952, and the high of 96 on the 13th, tied a record that had stood since 1921.
