Journey to Bethlehem in Hannibal December 12-14

The Crossing Hannibal presents a unique holiday experience Friday-Sunday, December 12, 13 and 14.

Journey to Bethlehem is described as an interactive walking tour from the town of Nazareth to Bethlehem, recreating events leading up to the evening of Christ's birth.

Those who go on this tour will encounter everything from angels to shepherds and wise men to Roman soldiers on horseback to the sights and smells of the Bethlehem Marketplace to Mary, Joseph and the Christ child.

Over 300 costumed characters will work to bring the Journey to Bethlehem to life.

The journey begins at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Hannibal. Participants will ride by tram to Bear Creek Trail, where the experience continues.

The walking tours run all three nights from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
