John Wood Community College will present sounds of the season on Friday, December 4, during its 24th annual Holiday Concert. The College’s three performing groups, Chamber Choir, Vocal Show Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble, will participate in the Annual Holiday Concert.

The concert will be held in the Mary Ellen Orr Auditorium in the Paul Heath Community Education and Fine Arts Center, on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m on Friday, December 4. Doors will open at 6:20 p.m. for the evening performance.

The Chamber Choir and Jazz Ensemble will perform holiday favorites, while the vocal show ensemble will perform numerous musical scenes from shows such as The Phantom of the OperaCarouselThe Magic Flute, and The Old Maid and the Thief.

Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door. J.W.C.C. students will be admitted free with their student ID on a space available basis. The concert will be followed by a reception featuring a variety of desserts and beverages.
