Job Fair Planned for New Champ Clark Bridge Project

A job fair is planned for people interested in developing their skills or using their experience to work on the new Champ Clark Bridge at Louisiana.

The Missouri Department of Transportation and Moberly Area Community College will host the job fair November 17th at the Twin Pikes YMCA in Louisiana. Hours will be 5:30 until 7:30 p-m. MODOT Communications Manager Marisa Ellison says says MACC and other colleges and training facilities have courses available over the next several months to allow individuals to become certified in highway and heavy equipment work. Many of the courses are tuition free. A brief presentation is planned during the job fair at 6:15 p-m.
