Jim Van Hoose to Run For Reelection to Hannibal Council

Hannibal’s Fourth Ward Councilman plans to run for reelection next April.

Councilman Jim Van Hoose announced Tuesday he will run for a full term on the council on April 5, 2016.

Van Hoose was appointed to the council to replace Barry Louderman in October 2014, then won a special election in April of this year.

Others whose terms are expiring next year are Second Ward Councilman Mike Dobson and Mayor Roy Hark.

Councilman James Hark has announced his intention to run for mayor to try and succeed his father.
