Jeffrey Tenhouse Pleads Guilty to Lesser Charge in Fatal Crash
A Liberty man originally charged with aggravated DUI in connection with a fatal crash has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
49-year-old Jeffrey Tenhouse will be sentenced May 19 on a charge of reckless driving. The charge was reduced after the State’s Attorney’s office decided they couldn’t substantiate the DUI charges.
Tenhouse was the driver of a car that crashed on North 803rd Lane west of Highway 104 last August 17. The crash resulted in the death of 34-year-old Amanda Krutmeier of Liberty. Three others were injured in the crash, two seriously.
