The former Hannibal elementary school principal arrested for heroin possession was in court Friday.

There was an arraignment hearing for J.D. Foust in Marion County Circuit Court. A motion for a reduction of Foust’s bond was denied by Judge John Jackson. Bond remains at $100,000 cash only.

Foust was arrested February 18 after a lengthy investigation and charged with possession with intent to deliver.

Foust’s next court appearance is set for March 6.
