Indecent Solicitation Arrest in Quincy

(QUINCY)—A Chicago area man is charged with indecent solicitation of a child following an incident reported Monday evening.

Quincy Police say they were called to an address in the 300 block of South 7th on a report that 18-year-old Shaquille Phillips of Evergreen Park solicited an 8-year-old female child to touch him in a sexual manner.

Police say the child was not physically harmed. Phillips was taken to the Adams County Jail.
