Illinois State Police Responded to 1,000 Requests in District 20 Last Month

Illinois State Police in District 20 during the month of December responded to more than 1,000 requests for service from the public.

In addition, the troopers in the five-county area in West Central Illinois handled 29 traffic crashes.

There was one fatal crash last month.

Traffic enforcement activities resulted in nine alcohol-related crashes. There were 444 citations issues for DUI, speeding, seat belt and distracted driving.
