The Illinois Senate has voted to lift a state ban on same-sex marriage. Today's 34-21 vote sends the bill to the House, where Democrats also hold a majority. Governor Pat Quinn says he will sign the bill if the House approves it. That would make Illinois the 10th state in the nation allowing same-sex couples to wed.
