Illinois Department of Natural Resources Prepares for Trout Season

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has stocked 42 lakes, creeks and ponds with more than 60,000 rainbow trout. The state's trout fishing season begins on April 6th. Anglers must have a valid Illinois fishing license and an inland trout stamp.
