A Hunnewell man is seriously injured when the ambulance in which he was a passenger crashed on Interstate 70 west of Kingdom City at 3:55 a.m. Friday.

The Highway Patrol reports a Marion County Ambulance was transporting 80 year old Alexander Taleff from Hannibal to University Hospital in Columbia when the driver, 26 year old Marissa Capps of Pittsfield, lost control of the ambulance on the wet roadway, causing the vehicle to run off the road and overturn.

Capps was not hurt. Taleff was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
