Hundreds Run in Hannibal Cannibal

With the firing of the cannon in downtown Hannibal, hundreds of runners and walkers were off and the annual Hannibal Cannibal 10K/5K run/walk was underway.
There’s no word yet on how many signed up to take part in the Cannibal. There were about 1620 signed up as of last night. Usually, another two to three hundred runners sign up Saturday morning. Race organizers were shooting for two thousand runners this year.
