A Quincy man was found guilty Wednesday on federal meth distribution charges.

31 year old Everett Humphrey was convicted in federal court in Springfield of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance at the end of a three day trial.

Humphrey was arrested last August 17th after a search of a residence on Rainbow Lane in Quincy uncovered eleven pounds of meth ice and about eight pounds of cannabis.

Another man arrested after the search, 41 year old John Varley, pleaded guilty to a conspiracy to distribute charge in May and will be sentenced September 17th.

Humphrey will be sentenced November 9th.
