A Quincy man pleads guilty to reduced charges Monday in connection with a domestic incident on Christmas Eve.

34 year old Deandre Hobson was to have to gone to trial Monday in Adams County Circuit Court. Instead, he pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by a felon and domestic battery.

Hobson was arrested December 24th. He is alleged to have struck a woman with a firearm after leaving a nightclub in the 900 block of Hampshire. The disturbance allegedly continued to their home in the 1100 block of Adams.

Hobson’s sentencing is set for November 16th. He remains in the Adams County Jail on $250,000 bond.
