Hit and Run Driver Strikes Several Vehicles

(Quincy, Ill)—A Quincy man is arrested after police investigate a hit and run accident in the 6th and Maine area Friday at 11:36 p.m. Officers arrived to find three other parked vehicles and a fence in the same area damaged by a pickup truck that witnesses observed fleeing the scene. The subsequent investigation led police to arrest 42 yr. old Arthur E. McNair of Ohio Street in Quincy Saturday. McNair faces charges of Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, No Drivers License, Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid Accident, and Improper Backing. He is scheduled to appear in court December 19th.
