(Quincy) – Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies and Illinois State Troopers respond to the report of a disturbance in the Paradise Mobile Home Park at 6:22 p.m. Friday.

Officers found a large group of people gathered in the street and observed a subject running from one of the mobile homes. A foot pursuit resulted in the arrest of 21-year-old Alex Hinds of Zellerman Avenue.

Hinds had been wanted for a previous domestic battery incident, and a search of his residence uncovered cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Hinds was taken to the Adams County Jail for aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, domestic battery, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
