Highway Patrol Troop B Releases Memorial Day Weekend Enforcement Numbers

Troop B of the Missouri Highway Patrol announced its Memorial Day weekend traffic crash and enforcement totals Tuesday.

In a press release from Troop B Headquarters in Macon, northeast Missouri troopers report investigating 20 traffic crashes over the weekend, resulting in two injuries and one fatality.

The fatal traffic crash involved a Downing, Missouri firefighter in Scotland County Monday afternoon.

Troopers also investigated one non-injury boating crash.

Also, over the holiday weekend, troopers issued 308 citations for speeding, 65 for seat belt violations and 634 warnings.
