(Undated) – Hannibal Board of Public Works officials say they are pitching in toward possible cleanup and recovery efforts as Hurricane Sandy comes ashore in the northeast. A bucket truck with four journeymen linemen are headed to Springfield Ohio. The St. Louis Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, which includes Hannibal and Quincy, are sending over a dozen volunteers to New York, with more a possibility after the storm hits. Ameren earlier announced it would send over a hundred employees east to deal with the potential aftermath of Sandy.
