QUINCY -- Harris Corporation is getting out of broadcasting.
Terri Black, A Harris public relations official, says that the entire broadcast division of Harris, including the Quincy facility, will be sold.
No buyer has been lined up yet, but Black says she is "highly doubtful that it won't sell."
The facility will continue to operate until the sale is complete.
Harris president and CEO William Brown says the decision was thoroughly reviewed and it was determined that the business didn't fit into the company's "long-term strategy."
