Hannibal Woman Killed in SUV-Motorcycle Crash near Quincy

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say a collision Sunday afternoon involving a motorcycle and an SUV claimed the life of a Hannibal woman.

Deputies say the crash on Illinois 96 south of Quincy claimed the life of 20 year old Bobbie Harbourn of Hannibal. She was a passenger on a motorcycle operated by 20 year old Eathen Creech of Plainville when it was hit by an SUV driven by 65 year old Katherine Detillo of Hannibal as she turned onto the highway from a private drive. Deputies say Creech is charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and violation of license classification. Detillo is charged with failure to yield. The crash report indicates that neither Creech nor Harbourn were wearing helmets. Creech is recovering from serious injuries.
