Hannibal To Retest Storm Sirens Today

Problems during Tuesday’s monthly test of Hannibal’s storm siren system mean a re-test this morning.

Hannibal Emergency Management Director John Hark says several sirens did not sound. Individual tests later in the day found all 16 to be in working order. Hark says they aren’t sure what the problem was… but that it may be part of the coding system. Another test of Hannibal’s storm sirens is set for 11 a-m today.
