More than 600 senior adults attended the seventh annual Senior Expo Thursday at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. Stacey Nicholas, director of RSVP, said the expo went without a hitch. “There was a lot of information about activities and services for senior citizens."
The theme was  “Live: Live it Well.” There were about 75 vendors, including pharmacies, medical groups, cosmetics, health organizations, nursing homes and community groups.
Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher gave away raffle prizes, including a package of Hannibal activities, like Mark Twain Cave and Mark Twain Riverboat tickets.
Senior Expo 2014 was sponsored by Hannibal Parks and Recreation, RSVP at Douglass Community Services, NECAC, Experience Works, the Marion and Ralls County Health Departments and NEILS.
