Hannibal saw its second consecutive month of double-digit precipitation in July.

According to the numbers from the Hannibal Filter Plant, Hannibal got a total of 11.33 inches of rain in July. The average precipitation in July is 4.32.

Over a fourth of that total came on the 11th, when the Filter Plant recorded 3.43 inches of rain. Other rainy days included 1.64 inches of rain on the 8th, 1.47 inches of precip on the 25th, and 1.2 inches of rain on the 27th.

There were 15 days during the month in which there was measurable rainfall at the Filter Plant.

That followed the wettest June on record, when Hannibal had over 13 inches of rain, about ten inches above average.
