(Hannibal)— Lieutenants Linnea and Rich Forney say the annual Kettle Campaign for the Salvation Army winds up Christmas Eve.

Linnea Forney says a number of families around Hannibal received some much needed help for Christmas, including food and toys for the kids.

Rich Forney says kettle donations are down a bit this year and reminds folks that your local Salvation Army helps people long after the Holidays.  Although the bell ringers are now gone from the store fronts, donations are always accepted, and the need is greater than ever, year around.

The Forneys hope last minute donations will help the Hannibal Salvation Army achieve its $75,000 goal.  The Forneys emphasize the money stays local.
