The Hannibal Salvation Army officially kicked off its Tree of Lights Christmas Campaign Friday night.

At the kick-off event, it was announced that Pat and Connie Benson would serve as honorary chairs for the campaign. It was also revealed that the 2018 campaign goal has been set at $105,000.

The Hannibal Salvation Army provides a variety of programs and services to help families in need in Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Monroe and Shelby counties.

The traditional Salvation Army kettle campaign began Friday and continues through Christmas Eve.
