Hannibal Residents Arrested on Warrants, Face Drug Charges

Two Hannibal residents were arrested Tuesday on warrants and face possible drug charges.

Ralls County Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie reports deputies responded to a report of drug activity in motel in rural Center. 25-year-old Rita Crea and 47-year-old Gregory Schwartz were taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

The two were arrested on outstanding warrants. Deputies also recovered two pounds of marijuana and ten grams of powder and rock cocaine intended for distribution.

Crea and Schwartz were taken to the Marion County Jail.
