Statistics show that one in four children has an undetected vision condition. Hannibal Regional Medical Group is doing its part to reduce those numbers by offering reduced price back to school medical exams, along with special deals in glasses and contact lenses through the end of August.

Experts say that 80% of learning is visual, and that vision conditions can lead to frustration, poor grades and behavioral issues for students.

What HRMG is offering is comprehensive eye exams, rather than just a vision screening. A full exam can detect eye alignment and the presence of chronic disease such as diabetes.
