The Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary has begun planning for its 3rd annual fundraising trip.

After previous trips to Ireland and Italy, the auxiliary's next adventure is Costa Rica, scheduled to begin February 9, 2015.

The trip's itinerary includes stops in the capital city of San Jose, a coffee plantation, the Caribbean Coast and the Monteverde Cloud Forest.

The cost of the nine day trip is $2,399, which includes airfare, hotels, tours and a total of 14 meals.

This is a fundraiser for the HRH Auxiliary. They have pledged $500,000 to the James E. Cary Cancer Center to help with the purchase a new Linear Accelerator.

If you're interested in going to Costa Rica, there will be an informational meeting Thursday, June 12 at the hospital, with sessions at 3 and 6 p.m. For more information, call 573-248-5272.
