Want to help Kick Cancer? Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation will host the inaugural Kickin’ Cancer Kickball Tournament at Bear Creek Sports Park on Saturday, October 5 beginning at 8 a.m.

The Kickin’ Cancer event is designed to raise awareness of the fight against all forms of cancer as well as assist those who are currently fighting against cancer. The event will offer a double elimination bracket thus guaranteeing each team two games.

This fun, family-friendly event will be a great time for all ages. The cost for a 9-15 person team is $250 which includes entry fee and a t-shirt for every member of the team. Registration forms are due by Friday, September 20 to guarantee t-shirt sizes.

All proceeds from the Kickin’ Cancer Kickball Tournament will benefit the James E. Cary Cancer Center’s Life.Light.Hope.Fund, which offers cancer patients assistance with transportation, nutritional supplements and other resources needed as they fight against cancer. Additional funds are used to assist families and patients with equipment and resources they need which can offer them hope and help when they need it most.
