Hannibal Regional Announces Major Expansion, Renovation

Hannibal Regional announces a major expansion and renovation of its healthcare facilities.

In a press release, Hannibal Regional cites accommodating the growing healthcare needs of northeast Missouri and ensuring an even higher level of care and service as the motivation behind a $61-million dollar, three-year expansion project.

Site improvements are already underway, with major construction to begin in October.

Improvements include a two story expansion of the facility’s Intensive Care and Progressive Care units, along with a new four story, 88,000 square foot addition to Hannibal Regional Medical Group.

There will be a complete renovation of the surgery department and the hospital mall, and new entrances to the hospital and medical buildings.

The construction and renovations are scheduled for completion in 2020.
