Hannibal Police Say Arrestee Gave False Name

A Troy woman is in custody after Hannibal Police say identified herself as someone else during a drug arrest Wednesday.

Hannibal Police say 23 year old Courtney Sanders of Troy told police that she was a 17 year old named Camie Roberts of Eolia. Police included that information in a press release. An investigation led authorities to discover that Sanders had identified herself inaccurately. Sanders was initially released pending a review for an outstanding warrant. Police say that additional charges are now pending against Sanders.
