Hannibal Police End Brief Standoff at HRH

Hannibal Police quickly end a standoff at the Hannibal Regional Hospital E-R entrance late this morning.

Police Chief Lyndell Davis says officers were called at 10:22 a-m regarding an adult female seated in a car under the canopy. Hospital personnel told police the woman threatened to shoot as they approached the vehicle. Police secured the area and took the woman into custody around 10:50 a-m. No injuries are reported. Police say no firearm was found on the woman or in the vehicle.
