Hannibal Police Arrest Anthony L. James

Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to a disturbance in the 800 block of Hazel at 12:18 a.m. Thursday morning. When officers arrived they contacted a male and female who were involved. Officers received consent to search the male, 36 year old Anthony L. James, of Hannibal, and discovered several individually packaged bags of what is believed to be marijuana. James was arrested for Distribution of a Controlled substance and placed on a 24 hour hold in the Marion County Jail pending warrants.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
