The execution of a search warrant by Hannibal Police results in three drug-related arrests.

HPD officers assigned with the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad Thursday executed the warrant at a residence at 109 Shepherd Drive.

The search uncovered substances believed to be heroin and marijuana.

Placed on a 24-hour hold pending the issuance of a warrant for possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia was 26 year old Dylan Mardis of Hannibal. There was also a parole warrant issued for Mardis, so he is in the Marion County Jail.

Released pending prosecutor review for possession of marijuana were 23 year old Taylor Sanders and 30 year old Brianna O’Brien of Hannibal.

Hannibal Police acknowledge the role of neighbors and concerned citizens in the investigation that led to the arrests Thursday.
