Hannibal Nutrition Center Golf Fundraiser September 15

The local Meals on Wheels program benefits from a golf tournament coming up Thursday, September 15.

The Hannibal Country Club hosts the 4th annual golf outing as a fundraiser for the Hannibal Nutrition Center. The tournament is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start.

As many as 18 teams can be a part of the event. Entry fee is $400 per team, which includes cart fees, lunch and dinner.

The nutrition center's Meals on Wheels program delivers up to 400 meals every day to area seniors. Fundraisers such as this are key to helping the center meet the expenses of food and transportation for the program.
