A 21-year-old Hannibal man has been arrested on drug charges.

Monday night, a Hannibal police officer contacted a driver of a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Mark Twain Ave for improper vehicle registration. The driver did not have a valid operator’s license. Michael A. Robinson refused to co-operate and was placed under arrest.

During a search of Robinson, the officer located a syringe and small baggie of methamphetamine. The officer then searched the vehicle and located more methamphetamine and marijuana.

Also found were several items of paraphernalia and items commonly used in the distribution of narcotics. Robinson was booked on numerous charges including interfering with arrest.
