Hannibal Man Arrested for Trespassing, Theft

A Hannibal man is in custody on theft charges.

Hannibal Police report that officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 1600 block of Bird Street at 11:44 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers arrived to find 20 year old Andrew Parks being detained by a resident who had found Parks sitting in the homeowner’s car.

Parks was taken into custody and later admitted to stealing from vehicles.

Parks was charged with trespassing and misdemeanor theft. He was taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold.
