Hannibal Man Arrested for Assault

Officers of the Hannibal Police Department responded to a report of a subject causing a disturbance at a residence in the 3600 block of Atoka, early Thursday (03/05/15) morning. When officers arrived they learned Lance M. Moore, 23, of Hannibal, had physically assaulted a female and threatened her with a knife. Moore was taken into custody, without incident and charged with Domestic Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Moore was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail. The female victim suffered minor injuries from the assault, but did not seek medical treatment.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
