A traffic stop Friday evening at Fulton and Terrace in Hannibal leads to a foot pursuit and the arrest of a Hannibal man on several charges.

Hannibal Police say an officer with their Anti Crime Enforcement Squad stopped a vehicle around 9 p-m. A passenger—32 year old Taurean Snoddy of Hannibal was found to be wanted on an active felony warrant for child neglect. Snoddy resisted arrest and the officer sustained minor injuries in the struggle. Additional officers arrived as Snoddy fled and a perimeter was set up. Snoddy was spotted and subdued with a TASER following a brief foot pursuit. Snoddy is held in the Marion County Jail for felony resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer. Bond is set at $50,000 cash only.
