Hannibal Man Arrested Following Ralls County Burglary

A burglary report Wednesday in the New London area leads to the arrest of a Hannibal man.
Ralls County Sheriff’s say two ATV’s… a large amount of fishing equipment and some farm equipment were taken. Investigators say 29 year old William Charlton of Hannibal stole the items and hid them at various locations in Ralls and Marion Counties. Deputies recovered most of the stolen items along with an ATV taken in an unrelated burglary August 5th in Ralls County. A warrant was issued Friday charging Charlton with burglary and tampering with a motor vehicle. Bond for Charlton is set at 50-thousand dollars cash only.
