One man is in custody following an early Sunday morning burglary at Grand Pharmacy in Hannibal.

A burglar alarm at 3:31 am brought Hannibal Police to 733 Grand. As officers arrived, they observed a vehicle leaving the area and followed it. Police say an unidentified male quickly exited the car and fled on foot. Officers were unable to relocate the subject or the vehicle. Police returned to the scene and found evidence with the suspects name and were told a large amount of prescription drugs were missing. A short time later, police located the vehicle involved in the 900 block of Reservoir. A search yielded tools consistent with damage to the pharmacy door. Information received by police at 7:34 Sunday morning indicated that an individual was in the 900 block of Reservoir with evidence from the burglary. Police say 18-year-old Curtis Miller of Hannibal was arrested for burglary and possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Marion County Jail. Miller is held on a $50,000 bond.
