The CASE Awards recognize the creativity, artistry, style and excellence in jewelry design from top jewelers across the nation. It was held at the JA New York trade show, February 24-26, 2013, in New York City.

“Jewelers of America is honored to recognize the exceptional talents of jewelers, like Randall Hurt, whose designs demonstrate the remarkable jewelry available from JA-member stores nationwide,” says JA President & CEO David J. Bonaparte.

Hurt won CASE Awards in three competition categories: Women’s Jewelry (Under $2,000 Retail), Silver Jewelry and Palladium Jewelry. He won a first-place Palladium Jewelry CASE Award for a palladium pendant set with a 19.43-carat aquamarine, diamonds and a white pearl.

Hurt received second place in the Women’s Jewelry under $2,000 category for a 14K white gold pendant with a 3-carat beryl center stone. His stylish oxidized sterling silver on-the-ear earrings with white and rose gold received a second place Silver Jewelry CASE Award.
